Sustainable Finance

Pledge supports players in sustainable finance and responsible investment in the design and implementation of their ESG strategies. We advise financial institutions, investment funds, management companies and businesses across all sectors on integrating environmental, social and governance criteria into their business models, investment strategies and internal governance.

Our approach combines regulatory expertise with an understanding of CSR issues, offering strategic and operational support that reconciles compliance, impact and performance.

Our areas of practice notably cover:

  • Sustainable structuring and governance: adoption of a purpose or mission statement, integration of CSR and ESG objectives into governance and internal policies;
  • Sustainable finance regulation: support with compliance under European and national frameworks (SFDR, Taxonomy, CSRD, CSDDD, AMF doctrine), preparation of extra-financial reporting and responsible investment documentation;
  • SRI products and labels: advice on structuring sustainable funds, labelling, and implementing exclusion policies, shareholder engagement and voting;
  • Shareholder engagement: assistance with filing and defending shareholder resolutions, defining dialogue strategies and extra-financial communication;
  • Compliance, control and training: review of internal frameworks, preparation of CSR/ESG charters and training of executives and compliance teams on regulatory requirements and sustainable finance best practices.

To actively contribute to the dissemination of these practices, the firm is currently preparing the publication of a Guide to Sustainable and Responsible Finance, to be released soon.
